 In Caldes there are two sign-posted routes for mountain bike and hiking excursions. The characteristics of these routes are:
Route 1:Camps de l’Onyar
Kms of circuit: 16.19 km
A route of low difficulty which covers the areas of Caldes de Malavella and Riudellots de la Selva. It goes through the village of Franciac, with its parish church, the panoramic view of the forest plain and the course of the River Onyar, which runs parallel to a large part of the circuit.
Starting point: Sports area of Caldes de Malavella (Signposted as “Ruta 14 del Centro BTT La Selva”)
Route 2. SanSanto Mauricio
Kms of circuit: 8.63km
This whole of this circuit runs within the area of Caldes de Malavella. It passes the hermit of San Mauricio and the remains of the castle of Caldes. The typical landscape of the forest plain. This route may be done by anyone as there are very few inclines and it is short. Starting point: Sports area of Caldes de Malavella (Signposted as “Ruta 15 del Centro BTT La Selva”)
